Trunk or Treat!

Saturday night we went to a Trunk or Treat at my parents church. We have never been before so this was quite the experience. Kade arrived around 4pm for games, devotional, and a hotdog dinner. Steve and I brought the other two back around 5:30pm for games and the trunk or treating. Here is a shot of everything getting started. There were lots of people dressed up and even more people giving out CANDY!!

Luke was unsure about how the trunk or treat process worked, Kade on the other hand had no problem taking candy. People were walking up and sticking candy in Luke's pumpkin and he had this confused look on his face. He soon figured out what was going on and he was helping himself to the pot. Here you can see he wanted more and was helping himself to another bag of M&M's while Dad was distracting Benny by talking.

Luke was ready to dig in. Already licking his lips!!

Alex cruising the parking lot in her costume. She was laughing at everyone dressed up.

Kade with his second bag of candy. I tell ya the adults were as bad as the kids. The adults brought way to much candy and the kids were going around two and three times to load up. Here he is trying to decide who has the best candy and where he is going to visit again. Buy the way if you need trick or treat candy call me I have two huge bags. :)

Gabby in her Minnie Mouse costume. She looks so cute!!!

Gabby, Scott, and Luke pose for a quick photo.

Disney costumes were everywhere at the trunk or treat. I took a few pictures of some of them. Our host for the evening, Snow white. This is my aunt and she put on all the fall activities for the kids at the church.

Farmer Randy and a Modern Day Elvis

Mickey Mouse

Here is Mr and Mrs. Incredible!

This is Austin as a Knight and Ava as a good witch. As you can see they have already dug into their candy too!!!

And I leave you with Miss Priss. I love Alex's smile in this picture. Randon, I know.

Have a great week!!

It looks like y'all had a blast, and I love the costumes! Where did you find the little scarecrow? It's precious!

Our church is doing trunk or treat this Wednesday. I have to come up with some car decorations... better get to it!!! Nothin' like waiting to the last minute!

Yes, the scarecrow costume is my favorite-very creative...what is Kade? We haven't made it to the super hero phase in this house yet...

The scarecrow costume came from Babies R Us. Kade is a "red" Power Ranger, not just a Power Ranger. If you leave off red he corrects you. HAHA! Little Alex is a butterfly.

looks like it was a blast! and now you have candy to pass out on Halloween!! halloween candy is expensive, man. so now you already got you some. pass any you may not need this way. hehe. :)

oh, and too funny about Kade needing to be called a "red" power ranger. joe does the same thing!! we are under no circumstances allowed to leave the color off the name!!

I am LOVING this post! The kids are ADORABLE! I am so glad that Kade wasn't Buzz this year also. Oh, and the scarecrow......even cuter than I thought that it would be! This trunk-or-treating thing is great, eh??

Gabby was a cutie pie too! Oh, and I see that her daddy came in his infamous GA gear!

I love, love, love the costumes. Your kids are so cute. Glad they had a great time trunk or treating. I've never done it myself or seen in it person but it looks like a lot of fun.

How fun!! I love that idea.
That last pic of Alex is so sweet. I love her little costume too! She looks like she had fun...they all do! Yes, my nephew is the same way about the power ranger business. He was the RED PR last year and this year he's going to be blue!
The scarecrow costume is adorable too. I can't wait for Wednesday!
