Kade!! Where is your tooth?!?!

Boy did we have some unexpected drama during dinner on Sunday night. We were at my parents eating and my mom looks at Kade to say something and she screams "Kade, where is your tooth?" We all jump up. I started looking at the food on his plate and nothing there, nothing on the floor, and nothing in his mouth. He swallowed his tooth!! I asked him if he bit into anything hard and his response was "I thought it was the crunchy part of the chicken." We were having chicken tenders. Here is a photo taking after everything had calmed down.

My mom helped him write a note to the tooth fairy since we did not have the tooth.
It reads in case you can not see it
Dear Tooth Fairy:
I lost my tooth today. I do not have my tooth. Please leave me a prize.
Kade

He was afraid of the idea of the tooth fairy coming into his room at night, but he finally went to sleep and here he is with the note on his bed so the tooth fairy could see it.

I also forgot to mention that this is the first tooth that Kade has lost.

Trunk or Treat!

Saturday night we went to a Trunk or Treat at my parents church. We have never been before so this was quite the experience. Kade arrived around 4pm for games, devotional, and a hotdog dinner. Steve and I brought the other two back around 5:30pm for games and the trunk or treating. Here is a shot of everything getting started. There were lots of people dressed up and even more people giving out CANDY!!

Luke was unsure about how the trunk or treat process worked, Kade on the other hand had no problem taking candy. People were walking up and sticking candy in Luke's pumpkin and he had this confused look on his face. He soon figured out what was going on and he was helping himself to the pot. Here you can see he wanted more and was helping himself to another bag of M&M's while Dad was distracting Benny by talking.

Luke was ready to dig in. Already licking his lips!!

Alex cruising the parking lot in her costume. She was laughing at everyone dressed up.

Kade with his second bag of candy. I tell ya the adults were as bad as the kids. The adults brought way to much candy and the kids were going around two and three times to load up. Here he is trying to decide who has the best candy and where he is going to visit again. Buy the way if you need trick or treat candy call me I have two huge bags. :)

Gabby in her Minnie Mouse costume. She looks so cute!!!

Gabby, Scott, and Luke pose for a quick photo.

Disney costumes were everywhere at the trunk or treat. I took a few pictures of some of them. Our host for the evening, Snow white. This is my aunt and she put on all the fall activities for the kids at the church.

Here is Mr and Mrs. Incredible!

This is Austin as a Knight and Ava as a good witch. As you can see they have already dug into their candy too!!!

And I leave you with Miss Priss. I love Alex's smile in this picture. Randon, I know.

Have a great week!!

Happy Monday Everyone!

So, this photo should say how our Monday morning has started off. He just got told the dreaded "No" for playing in the laundry room. You would have thought that I smacked him around a few times. If you look closely at his shirt it is so approriate for today. It reads "I didn't do it."

Happy Rainy Monday!

Fall Fun!

Fall has arrived..er, or has it. What is up with this weather. I am ready for the cooler days and even cooler nights. We had a great weekend. Not as busy as some, but we did seem to do alot. Here are a few random words that sum up our weekend...fair, pumpkins, funnel cakes, flowers, soccer, fajitas, dancing, friends, football, yardwork, and sleep!!!
So, on Friday night we headed to the pumpkin patch and the fair. Our first stop was the pumpkin patch. Here is a photo of Kade standing by this huge rotten pumpkin. I did not see it there until I was reviewing the photos at home.

Daddy and Alex leading the way to find that special pumpkin.

Here is Alex trying to convince Mommmy that we need this big pumpkin.

Luke found his pumpkin and he was ready to go once he got his.

After some arguing, pushing, and convincing these are the two pumpkins that we chose.

So after a while at the pumpkin patch we headed over to Chili's for dinner and then to the fair. Kade of course had to have tickets to ride a few things. Here is his first choice. The rollercoaster.

Luke on the other hand was not into riding. He was to busy watching the helicopter that kept flying over the fair. Oh well, maybe next year.

So we were walking along and who could it be....Melanie and Morgan from Mel's Haven. Of course, being bloggers and scrapbookers we had to get a few pictures.

Mommy and Alex watching Kade on the cars.

Apparently Luke got tired so he decided to make a seat out of Alex's foot rest on her stroller. How cute!

Morgan and Kade decided to ride the dragons. Look how sweet they are together.

Isn't he the little gentlemen. Here he is unbuckling the strap and when he was finshed he jumped out and left her sitting there. Boys!!

And now to the highlight of my hubby's night. FUNNEL CAKE!! Here he is talking smack as he walks back with his cake. As soon as he sat down with it me and the kids helped him put it away so he really did not get much. Maybe next year baby!

Hope everyone has a great week.

Here are some more wedding photos. There are several with Alex. The rest are very random. Just ones that I liked.
Luke is awaiting his turn for pictures.

The spies!!

Luke loved standing on the shoe scrapper at the door. He looks like he is riding a scooter or something.

The bride and bridemaids. Not sure if I am awake in this photo. Also not sure why Lisa has that disgusted look on her face.

Steve and Jason watching the Georgia Tech game before the wedding. Oh so sad they lost :).

Mommy and Alex.

Brad and Lindsey's Wedding

So, Saturday was the big day and boy was it big!! We were busy all day getting ready to look pretty for photos and all the people that were coming at 6pm. The weather was beautiful. Bride, groom, parents, kids, attendants, all looked great. Did I mention that everything was beautiful. If not let me tell you that everything was beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!
There are so many photos that I love I will post some more later.
I will begin with my guys!! Luke's pose in this picture cracks me up. He is saying I am cute and I know it!

Here is the groom giving me his stripper dance before the wedding.

Daddy and Luke taking a break before the big moment arrives. Aren't they so cute?

The guys are posing for pictures with the real photographer so I thought that I would steal a couple of shots of my own. He asked the guys to do several things and you can see that Luke and Kade are confused on what to do.

Here is bride. Isn't she beautiful! The dress was gogerous.

I am tying to help her get these shoes on. The buckles on these things were tough, but after about 5 minutes she was able to walk.

Another shot that I stole from the photographer. Great shot and you can also see the back of the dress.

Here is a family shot with Steve's mom Kathy and stepdad Phil. On the end (left) is his step brother Daniel, his wife Amanda (in black), their daughter Danielle is the flower girl, and his step-sister Kathy (in brown with the purse). His grandpa is by Amanda. Did you get all that???

Here is another family shot. This one includes his dad Gary (by the groom) and his girlfriend Karen.

Here is a shot of our family with Steve's brothers and their wifes. I can finally say that now that are married.

Kade and his friend Tyler toasting to the bride and groom. By the way Kade has tea in his glass!!

Time for the real toasts! Here is the bride, groom, bestman and also brother of the groom Nick, maid of honor and sister of the bride Nicole, and the father of the bride Mike giving there well wishes to the happy couple.

Nick and Araceli. (Steve's brother and his wife, also the grooms twin.)

Steve and I at the reception.

And I leave you with the happy couple tearing up the dance floor.

Best Wishes to you both. May life bless you with love, laughter, happiness, and many babies!! Hey! I want to be an aunt too!!
