So, Andrea at Royal Family posted a recipe several weeks ago and I wrote it down for sake keeping and eating. I was making these for my soon to be sister-in-law's shower last Sunday and I thought that I would share with you guys. Some of you have probably already seen these, but if you haven't you should try them they are so YUMMY!!!

Fruit Pizzas
1 pack of the pull apart and bake sugar cookies
8oz of cream cheese or you can use cool whip (I prefer cream cheese)
Strawberries
Blueberries
Raspberries
You can also use different types of fruit such as Kiwi and pineapple.
Bake cookies according to package. Let cool.
Once cool spread with cream cheese and then add fruit.
Refrigerate.
Hope you enjoy!!

Happy 2nd Birthday Luke!!!

It is hard to believe that Luke is turning 2 today!!!
He was born September 20th at 7:41pm weighing in at 7lbs even. He was my biggest baby out of three. Here he is this morning playing around before we left for school. I let him wear his Goofy shirt that Melanie got him for his birthday.

Giving sis a little love before he leaves for school.
These next photos were taken on Saturday at the birthday party. In case you have not already guessed we had a Mickey Mouse party because that is "the stuff" at my house these days.

We started by letting the kids play in the moonwalk. Even Alex was able to play as long as the bigger kids were out of the way.

Now we are on to the serious stuff. CAKE!!! Luke managed to stick his fingers in the cake after it was out of the box for 2 seconds. He could not wait on everyone else. Dad is trying to help Luke blow out the candle on his cake.

So I have to give a big shout out to Beth, Olivia, and Zach for getting Luke this vacuum cleaner. He loves it!! He carries all over the house. The kids were fighting over this thing at the party.

And here he is opening another present. Notice the tongue! When he is really concentrating on something out comes the tongue.

Happy Birthday Buddy!
We love you!

Help me pick Alex's dress!

I need everyone's help. I am in the process of picking out a dress for Alex to wear to Steve's brothers wedding on Oct 6th. I need something that is going to look good in pictures. My bridesmaid dress is black with a champagne wrap that goes around the waist. Steve and the boys will be in tuxedos so we will all be in black. The brides dress is ivory and so is the flower girl. I checked with the bride and she does not mind if Alex is in ivory. These are the two that I found so let me know under comments your favorite. Oh, the flowers are also white and red. Basically I am avoiding colors like light green, pink, lavender, or any other pastels.
Here is dress one.
Purchased at Gymboree it is a red and ivory dress.

I also got the sweater since it is a late outdoor (weather permitting) wedding and you never know what the weather may be.
Dress two.
Purchased at Carters it is a ivory dress.
Very simple and I also got the ivory sweater.

Thanks ladies!

Luke's 1st Day of Preschool

Last Thursday was Luke's first day of school. I was very worried about how he was going to do because he is not that outgoing and trusting of others. He goes from 9-12:45 on Tuesday and Thursday. We pulled up and instead of parents walking the kids in the teachers take them out of the car and inside the preschool. Luke was screaming when his teacher started taking him out of his car seat. I was thinking that maybe I had made a mistake and we should just go home, but I remembered what his doctor said and so I pulled away wondering if I would be back in a few hours to pick him up. He made it through the day and the teacher said he was great. He cried for about 15 minutes and by the end of the day had warmed up to both teachers and the kids in the class. They said he loved playing with the kitchen set. Here is a photo of Luke while we were waiting in the car line. This was before he knew what was about to happen. As you can see he had to hold his lunch box.

Way to go Luke you are such a big boy!!

Back from the Beach!

Hello everyone out there in blogging world. We have just gotten back from a last minute trip to the beach. We went to Panama City for Labor Day weekend. Our condo was fabulous. If you are going there soon and are taking kids I highly recommend that you stay at Splash. Ok, on to the photos. Alex and I are cooling in the ocean. On Saturday it was hot and there was no breeze so you have to stay close to the water.

Luke and Daddy floating in the ocean. Steve put every swimmie we had in the bag on Luke. I guess better safe than sorry.
Here are my three guys walking back to the tent after another swim in the ocean.

Kade and Araceli decided they are going to bury each other in the sand. Araceli went first because it took some convincing before Kade would jump in.

At last he gives in and we got a picture to prove it.

After burying each other in the sand they decided that they would look for shells. The water was so clear that you could see the bottom. Araceli would go under and get the shells that Kade wanted because he could not put his head under the ocean for some reason.
Here is mommy, Alex, and Luke playing by the shore.

Alex by the pool playing with her toys.

So here is part of the reason that I would recommend this place. They have a kiddie water park in the pool. Kade and Luke loved it.
Kade coming down the slide.

Kade and Luke came down the slide together. They were laughing so hard they were barely able to get up and go again.

So after dinner on the last night we played putt-putt golf. This was Luke's first time playing. He loved carrying his club, but you have to be fast because he would run and pick up your ball. We had some very competitive people playing so it made the game a little more interesting.

Here Kade is getting ready to make his putt and Luke is trying to step in and swipe his ball.
Here is Nick (Steve's brother) and his wife Araceli with Kade. They were taking a break from being so competitive. Times up back to the game!!!!!

So that was pretty much our weekend. I have been catching up on everyone else and it looks like you guys were busy too.
Have a great week!!!
