Outdoor family fun

A couple of days ago we went to my parents house to visit for awhile. This is the boys favorite spot to play.......THE DIRT!!!! They have a film of dirt all over their clothes and body when we leave.

Here is Ms Priss driving her new red convertible!!
Watch out guys.
My parents got the kids this cool wagon. Alex is just big enough to sit up and ride in it. We made several laps around the driveway in this thing. Kade loved pulling them around. He was being a great big brother.

Here is the whole gang sitting at the entrance of my parents extra garage tyring to stay cool. They had a huge oak tree that we used to sit under, but it died and had to be cut down. We really miss the tree during the summer. Melanie can tell you some good stories about us in the summer under the tree. These are my parents and grandparents in the pictures.

The kids love playing there. Ice cream, candy, and whatever else they want the whole time that we are there.
I guess it is to be expected at the grandparents house!!!

Happy 30th Birthday to Me!!

Yesterday was my 30th birthday and it was a great day. The kids and I started the day at Pump it Up for their open jump time. We then headed over to McDonalds for lunch and some more playtime on the playground. Kim, Mason, and Parker joined us and it was lots of fun. After taking naps we headed out to find Luke some more shoes and no luck there. Steve and the kids took me to Zaxby's for dinner last night (we let Kade pick where we were going to eat for my birthday....maybe I should have talked to him before hand). We spent a couple of hours at the outlet mall shopping around. After all of this we headed to my parents house for my gift and CAKE!!
Since it was my birthday everyone decided that we were going to have a slumber party. Here we are playing around in the bed before bedtime.

The boys were really into the party, but for safety we put Alex back in her crib alone. Sorry!! Before the night was over Kade ended up in the floor in his sleeping bag, Steve, Luke, and myself ended up in our bed. It was a great day. We had lots of fun playing with the kids.
Thanks for all the calls, cards, and well wishes on my birthday. You guys are the best.

Look at what I found.

So I went to upload some photos to my computer to update the blog and order online and I discovered these photos on my camera. Looks like Luke managed to get to the camera and turn it on and take photos of himself. Boy, this 20 month old can always manage to get his hands on stuff.
We'll atleast he was enjoying himself.
Look at those teeth!!!

Cool at the pool!!!

We'll summer has arrived and so has the kids boredom. We spent most of the afternoon at the pool chilling out. Kade has swimming lessons this week and he is doing great. He says that his favorite part is picking his candy after lessons. Alex on the other hand enjoyed laying in her stroller licking her toes. She did not want to be in the sun.

Luke has been like a fish. He would rather swim with his ring on than the floats that go on his arms. He also likes to jump in from the side and make big splashes.
Here is Cool Joe with his swim goggles on. The water is still a little cool so he is standing there shivering while I am taking this photo.
Oh well, I am sure we will spend plenty of afternoons at the pool this summer.
Happy Thursday!!!!

Vacation Bible School

Last week our church held our annual vacation bible school and the theme was Avalanche Ranch. The kids had a blast, but it was also very tiring. We had 20 kids in the preschool class and lucky me was the assistant in the class all week. I should not complain because it really was a blessing to see the kids learn about God.
Luke takes a while to warm up to people and this week was a very overwhelming experience for him. He is not used to being around that many people. ( He stays at home with me during the day). Here is a photo of him entering his room and as you can see he has already started crying.
But by the end of the week he really started to warm up to all the people and the other crying kids. Here are some of the kids outside during games and as you can see he is not crying.
Kade on the other hand had a great week. He learned so much. Whenever someone said the bible point of the day like... "God is strong or God is courageous" you are supposed to scream WAHOO!! I have heard that all week. Here is Kade during his game time.
This photo was made during crafts. Every time I would take his picture he would make his cheese face. What can I say he loves the camera.

Hope everyone has a great week. Sorry for the long time between posts. I have some more things to post so maybe in a few days I will be back on.

WAHOOO!!!!
