We'll we have officially entered the days of real school. No more messing around like in Pre-school. On August 9th we traveled over to Kade's elementary school for open house. His teacher is Ms. Trampel and she seems really nice. Kade seemed to like her. They have a really cool classroom which Kade thought was great. His first assignment was to draw himself. They had people figures cut out on the table and he was asked to decorate it. Here he is working on his masterpiece. For some reason he colored his face red and then did not want to put eyes on. Oh well!!

Here he is after school with this hat that he made in art. He said that "Kindergarten is the best".

We'll it has been awhile since I have posted so call me slack!We have been trying to finish our basement and I have not had time to work on the blog. This week I am going to try to catch up. I have lots to post so check back often and see what is happening now!

I can't believe that Mr Kade is already officially in kindergarten!!! Boy, how time flys. He is such a big boy. I'm still dreading the day that he figures out that my name really isn't Mel Mel Mel. Ughh....I'll hate that!
You better be posting....Katie needs to know what REAL wall envy is. Like the kind that me and Beth have over your dad-gum movie sized tv that covers your whole wall in the basement.....now that is some real wall envy!!! The basement was lookin' real good the last time that I saw it. We need to have a girls night there after it is finished.....it will probably be the only time that the poor tv gets real action....you know like chick flicks! Hee hee.
